“Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.” – Marcus Aurelius
Finally I am back in circulation. Let’s live a good life. Let’s live a simple life so others may live. We don’t need too much, but we can help other people. We can instill values, inspire lost souls, motivate the weary.
Whether you believe there is a god or none at all, it your choice. I won’t argue with you, I won’t defend my side, but I would want you to realize that if you believe in something or not, there are highs and lows, pros and cons, but what matters most is you either live a good life or screw things up.
Which is better, a good life, or a miserable one?
Virtues, values, and who you are in totality make up your existence here. Make yours count. Live a good live as long as it is free.
